Honors & Awards

URMIA Awards

The University Risk Management and Insurance Association each year presents several awards to celebrate outstanding individuals and achievements that have enhanced the higher education risk management community.

These awards highlight the URMIA members who continually go above and beyond in living our mission, vision, and values. The recipients are all nominated by their peers and chosen by a selection committee. Some of these awards are named after influential URMIA members who have shaped the association's trajectory, like Larry V. Stephens and Jenny Whittington. These award recipients represent the very best of URMIA.
