Opportunity for All
We invite our affiliate and institutional members — and others — to make submissions that highlight best practices and provide innovative solutions for addressing the challenges facing higher education risk managers at institutions of all sizes and types in the United States and around the world. We consider sessions to be an educational opportunity for all types of URMIA members on campus and in industry.
In keeping with URMIA’s long-standing values, we seek to ensure diversity and inclusivity in our conference experience. Submissions will be evaluated on how they increase aptitude, compliance, respect, and organizational effectiveness across the association for organizations and individual members.
We wish to extend a special invitation to those who have not presented before to take advantage of this opportunity to submit a proposal or join a team of presenters as the next step in building your professional connections and reputation.
Presentation Team Requirements
Except for flash sessions, all sessions must include an URMIA institutional member as a co-presenter/panelist. The maximum number of presenters on a panel is four individuals. Flash sessions, which are 30-minute deep dives on a single subject, are limited to one presenter, who may be an URMIA affiliate or institutional member.
