In
the wake of several publicized laboratory accidents, institutions are
re-evaluating their laboratory safety programs. The status quo may not
be enough to prevent serious laboratory injuries. Property damage costs,
loss of research, reputational damage and possible criminal prosecution
are devastating consequences. Whether you are an institution with
several student teaching labs or an institution with a large number of
research labs, lab safety should be a critical component in your overall
risk management program.
This webinar will review best
practices, explore laboratory safety implementation at higher education
institutions, and discuss the future of lab safety program management.
