I have led an interesting life with multiple professional challenges. My running joke is that I have lived every 6 year old boy's dream. I have been an EMS provider, Police Officer, and professional Firefighter. This wide range of experience led me to campus public safety management in 2011.

1997-2006: City of Champaign (IL) Police Department: Patrol Officer, FTO, and FTO Sergeant.
2006-2008: Real Estate professional
2008-2011: City of Decatur (IL) Fire Department: Firefighter/EMT-B, Fire Instructor I
2011-Current: Millikin University (Decatur, IL) Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police. Transitioned department from contracted Security only department to a proprietary hybrid Police-Security department. Also responsible for Risk Management, Environmental Health and Safety, Parking, and Fleet Management.
