John C. Tarpey has worked for a number of major brokers and as a risk manager, where he handled a diverse group of clients, including universities, Religious Organizations real estate developer, and large food chain. Mr. Tarpey has designed and facilitated continuing education programs for Point Park College, now Point Park University; Robert Morris University; the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Pennsylvania; and the Society of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU). He was a lead facilitator on the national professional development staff of an international broker. Mr. Tarpey holds a CPCU designation, as well as the Associate in Risk Management (ARM). He is a past president of the Allegheny Chapter of CPCU, where he currently is on the advisory board. Mr. Tarpey has also served on the board of the Insurance Club of Pittsburgh.
