John DeLaHunt is the Risk and Life Safety Manager for the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he is responsible for all property and personnel loss prevention, loss control, and risk transfer. John has more than twenty years experience managing higher education risk. He has been active in national associations, including the Campus Safety Health and Environmental Management Association (CSHEMA), the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (APPA), the American Chemical Society (ACS), and the Center for Campus Fire Safety. He has been a frequent presenter for these organizations.
