This year the Australasian Universities Risk and Insurance Management (AURIMS) and Australia New Zealand Universities Internal Audit Group (ANZUIAG) conference is being held in Auckland from Wednesday 27 to Friday 29 April 2016, hosted by the Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
The theme for this year’s conference is Charting New Waters – Risk, Insurance and Audit.
The conference organising committee have prepared an exciting programme covering a range of topics across the above three streams and also includes health and safety, business continuity, crisis management and cyber security and we encourage staff in the risk, audit and insurance areas to consider attendance. From past experience these conferences are great value and well worth attending. There is also time for valuable networking opportunities with our contemporaries from many Australasian Universities in attendance making this Conference special for all tertiary staff engaged in the above disciplines.
The conference will provide a forum to present debate and discuss both current and future issues impacting these areas. It will include plenary sessions, workshops and panel sessions and together these will address success stories, challenges, opportunities, tangible action items and takeaways on a variety of topics. We work in diverse institutions which comprise not only different offices and departments but whole faculties with a broad range of stakeholders from administrative staff and academics to funders and students.
